The attached short project proposal was submitted to the Volkswagenstiftungs Experiment! call in collaboration with Markus Miettinen. Unfortunately we did not get funding but it would still be interesting to investigate whether tools developed for General Relativity could be used to strengthen the mathematical foundation of Molecular Dynamics Symulations.
