Below you find a list of projects I am involved with or that I support.
Opportunity
It has come to my attention that visas are a pretty thorny issue for many students and researchers from developing countries. With this project we try to alleviate the discrimination faced by students who were rejected a visa to the US without justification despite having received a fully funded PhD scholarship.

The Platypus Project
Australia is the only country in the G12 without a Institute for theoretical Physics. We wrote a blue sky proposal to change that.
Lausitzer Innovationszentrum
As a compensation for the divestment from coal the German government started a competition for two large scale research institutes: “Wissen schafft Perspektiven für die Region.” We wrote a contribution for the Lausitz region.
Unfortunately our contribution was not selected for the second phase of the competition.
